The Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED) in Kumasi-Tanoso is appealing to all students for help in identifying a suspected thief caught on CCTV footage.
The footage, which was shared with the approval of the Dean of Student Affairs, shows an individual believed to have stolen a student’s bag containing a laptop and other valuables.
In the video, the suspect is seen taking the bag, and the SRC is now calling on the student body to assist in identifying the person responsible.
Students who recognize the individual or have any information related to the theft are urged to contact the Dean of Student Affairs or visit the campus security post.
The SRC has assured students that all information provided will remain confidential, with a promise that no one who comes forward will have their identity revealed.
They emphasized the importance of collective effort in maintaining safety on campus.
In addition to the appeal, the SRC reminded students that fostering a safe environment is a shared responsibility and urged everyone to stay vigilant, report suspicious behavior, and protect the safety and rights of the campus community.
This initiative is part of AAMUSTED’s ongoing efforts to provide a secure and peaceful campus for students.
