Gospel musician Broda Sammy has revealed that a political party has engaged him to create a song for their 2024 campaign.
He shared that he has already received part of his payment, with the remaining amount to be paid once the music video for the project is completed.
Expressing gratitude, Broda Sammy acknowledged the recognition and respect shown to him by the party, which has influenced his decision to support them in the upcoming elections.
He noted that their appreciation for his contributions to the music industry played a significant role in gaining his backing.
Additionally, the musician mentioned that he remains open to collaborating with other political parties if they value his music and respect his craft, indicating that he is willing to work with anyone who acknowledges his talent.
“I was approached to produce a song for one of the presidential candidates, and I must say, I feel truly honored that they know me and have shown respect for my work as a musician. Their recognition has pulled me toward them, and I’ll be voting for them. Honestly, I would have done the song even if they paid me just one cedi, because what really matters to me is the respect they’ve shown by coming to me for the song.”
