Ghanaian musician Wendy Shay has publicly acknowledged Shatta Wale for what she described as a rare gesture of kindness within the entertainment space.

According to her, the dancehall star chose to transfer full mechanical rights of their joint tracks ‘Stevie Wonder’ (2019) and ‘H.I.T.’ (2020) to her management, Rufftown Records. The move means her label now has complete ownership over the revenue generated from the two hit collaborations.
