John Irvin Heerdegen Geiling, a son of Afia Schwarzenegger and one of her twin sons, recently got rid of a tattoo of his mother’s face that he had gotten in 2021. Three years later, Irvin chose to remove the tattoo, offering an explanation that many deemed unconvincing.
He clarified that he no longer liked the way the tattoo looked and decided to have it removed, intending to get a different one later on. He stated that his mother approved of his choice to remove the tattoo.
Irvin wasn’t certain when he might get his mother’s image tattooed on him again, but he thinks it will happen eventually.
Despite his logic, a number of internet users questioned his justification. Some people theorized that his unease with his mother’s actions and online presence, which has frequently sparked controversy, may have been the actual motivation for the removal.
Some social media users speculated that Irvin’s choice may have been guided by external influences, like a romantic partner, rather than just a personal preference for aesthetics. Some ridiculed his logic, asking why it had taken him three years to realize the tattoo was poorly done.
The act of removing the tattoo has caused different responses, but Irvin insists that he will eventually get a new tattoo of his mother, despite being unsure of the timing.
