A young woman, whose identity remains undisclosed, finds herself torn between her current boyfriend and a former romantic interest.
The situation, which emerged from a social media post seeking advice, has sparked conversations about relationships and personal values.
According to the woman’s account, she began dating her current boyfriend in November after meeting him in August of the previous year.
Their relationship is primarily long-distance due to both being university students hence, they rarely meet in person.
Her issue is that her current boyfriend seems not to be romantic at all towwards her. He does not pamper her at all and makes her even pay for expenses when they are together. Worse of all he keep demanding for sex.
Comparing her current situation to a past relationship, she recalls a former romantic involvement with a teacher, which was also long-distance but characterized by financial support and gifts from him.
According to her post on social media, her ex is trying to reconnect and she is contemplating on whether or not to leave her current relationship. The former boyfriend also intends marrying her soon.

I met my bf last yr aug. we were all singl by the time then started dating Nov. its a long distance relationship, we usually meet on holidays since we’re all UNI students, but he never realy does anything romantic to me, I understand we’re students but never gifted me anything fr? Or sending airtime since he has loan and i dont?. When we meet all he demands is sex, all expenses ar on me, and i do the wifey duties🤦♀️. Back on 2022 i once dated my teacher( also long distance, never had sex with him) he used to send m money and gifts. A yr later we kinda ended things peaceful, but this time around he has been texting, calling me that wants me back, Last week he sent me money then insisted coming over to my region next wekend so we can spend time together and even mentioned to have sex with me, and marryng me. Now idk how to react should i allow him?? But am afraid, last tym i told him i was a virgn, so if he comes and find out am not, how will he react knowing i already had sex with others?? What if he uses it as a reason to leave me again?? Or, should i just stay loyal to my bf??hoping he will be better somedays?”
