A woman has shared the unexpected strategy she used to prevent her husband from going through with their divorce.
According to her, she was not prepared to become a single mother, so when her husband informed her of his decision to end the marriage, she devised a plan that ultimately changed his mind.
She recounted that after he declared his intention to divorce, she packed her belongings, ready to leave.
However, when he asked about the children, she responded that she had entered the marriage alone and, therefore, the responsibility for their children now rested solely on him.
Her response reportedly took her husband by surprise, prompting him to reconsider his decision. Instead of proceeding with the divorce, he began pleading with her to stay.
Recounting the experience, she wrote: “My husband said he wanted a divorce. I said okay, no problem. I packed my things, and he asked about the kids. I told him I didn’t come into the marriage with children, so they are his responsibility. He immediately started begging me to stay.”
Her revelation has sparked discussions online, with many reacting to her unconventional approach.
