The trolling of Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on social media doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon especially since he intends visiting churches and is already visiting churches as part of his campaign.
On Good Friday, the president visited Church of Pentecost in Buduburam and the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Trinity Congregation in Kwashieman. In fact, he was considered the guest of honour at both churches.
The vice president posted pictures of these ocassions on social media claiming it is his way of promoting inclusivity and diversity, as well as the common reverence both Muslims and Christians have for Jesus Christ.
Below are some reactions to the his post:
@_kwekujay – That’s the only place he can do his cheap politics and the leaders of the church also love what he does and they can’t speak truth to power.
@AseyeSeyram – What I was expecting from The Church of Pentecost was Bawumia stand on the LGBTQ. But look at how they are quiet about it?
@KwameDOdam23958 – I think Presiding Elder is better. He now attends church than mosque.
