Known for chart-topping hits like “Asuoden” and “Maradona” featuring DopeNation, the artist expressed her disappointment on Facebook, questioning whether she had somehow offended someone in the industry.

Sista Afia particularly lamented the exclusion of “Asuoden”, one of her most popular tracks in 2021, from the list of nominees. She hinted at possible bias in the nomination process, suggesting that certain artists may not even need to submit entries to be considered.
