Angry youth in Dadieso allegedly block road preventing Bawumia's passage over bad governance

Tensions escalated in Dadieso, the district capital of Suaman District in Ghana’s Western North Region, as enraged youths took to the streets to protest against perceived governance failures. The protest resulted in the blocking of roads, disrupting the passage of Vice President Bawumia.

Dadieso, a community in the Suaman District, has long grappled with issues such as poor infrastructure, lack of basic amenities, and limited economic opportunities. The residents’ frustrations reached a boiling point, prompting them to demand action from authorities to address their grievances.

The presence of Vice President Bawumia in the region further fueled the intensity of the protest, with demonstrators seizing the opportunity to draw attention to their plight and demand accountability from government officials.
