Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales has disclosed that she has been diagnosed with cancer. The Princess shared her journey, emphasizing her commitment to treatment and recovery.
Many were taken aback by the revelation because Middleton had significant stomach surgery earlier this year, and at first it was thought that her ailment wasn’t malignant. But further testing showed that she had cancer, so her doctors suggested a prophylactic round of chemotherapy.
”In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous. The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment.”
Following the disclosure last month that King Charles III was receiving treatment for an unidentified form of cancer that was found during a procedure for a benign enlarged prostate, the news represents yet another shock to the royal family.
