In a recent Facebook post that has sparked considerable debate, Mussa Dankwah, the Executive Director of Global InfoAnalytics, has revealed a poll outlining the most preferred leaders for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) ahead of the 2028 elections.

The rankings, which were shared late on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, have attracted significant attention from NDC supporters and the broader public.

Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, the former Vice President candidate for John Dramani Mahama in both the 2020 and 2024 elections, emerged as the leading choice, securing 33% of the votes. Opoku-Agyemang’s extensive experience as the former Minister of Education and as the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast has positioned her as a strong contender for the NDC’s leadership in the coming years.

Coming in third place is Hon. Ato Forson, with 16% of the vote. Currently serving as the Minority Leader in Parliament, Forson is highly regarded for his economic expertise and his role in holding the government accountable.
