Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, has voiced his frustration with Burna Boy for ignoring him, despite receiving a generous N20 million from the Afrobeats star.
This follows a previous report that Burna Boy had gifted Portable the large sum after he defeated Speed Darlington in a public altercation.
While Portable expressed his gratitude for the gift, he also took the opportunity to request a collaboration with Burna Boy. However, it seems his attempts to connect with the Grammy-winning artist have been met with silence.
In a recent video, Portable revealed that despite his repeated attempts to reach out to Burna Boy, including sending messages on Instagram, the “Last Last” singer has not responded.
He expressed disappointment, stating that while Burna Boy had been generous enough to gift him a substantial amount, he had failed to acknowledge his attempts to communicate.
Portable went on to share that while the N20M was appreciated, he considered securing a collaboration with Burna Boy to be even more significant. He added, “Someone who gave me N20 million has never responded to my messages. I try calling, but he doesn’t pick up. He doesn’t even follow me. Why is he being so stingy with his replies?”
Although Portable’s comments have stirred up attention, many social media users have expressed mixed opinions, with some questioning Portable’s approach and others suggesting that Burna Boy may have had different intentions when offering the cash gift.
