A 4-year-old Stone Hicks, battling end-stage kidney disease, saw his dream come true as he was sworn in as an honorary police officer by the Orlando Police Department in Florida.
Stone’s journey has been marked by adversity since infancy, as he valiantly fought against kidney disease.
Two years ago, his father selflessly donated one of his kidneys to save his son’s life, a testament to the strength of their bond and the depths of parental love.
