Amid the ongoing Webkid arrest controversy, Shatta Wale has warned his fans to stay away from anything involving Stonebwoy, following his advocacy for Webkid’s release.
Webkid’s arrest stems from the alleged publication of false information about Stonebwoy and his family on X (formerly Twitter), which is said to be a breach of Section 76 of the Electronic Communications Act, 2008 (Act 775) of Ghana.
In a video, Shatta Wale stated that no fan of his should post anything about Stonebwoy, whom he referred to as a “stupid boy.”
He added that any fan who disobeys this instruction would be blocked.
Shatta Wale also denied knowing Webkid personally but criticized Stonebwoy amid ongoing fan clashes.
“No Shatta Movement fan should post anything about that stupid boy again. I will block you. If I see any Shatta Movement fan doing what Webkid was posting, that is not what I post every day. But Webkid felt like people were posting that thing about me, and that’s why he got angry. He wanted to play a role for me. I have never seen Webkid before, but he has been able to prove his love…”
